Celebrating Leadership and Programme Delivery at the CaSA 2026 Conference & Awards

changemaker is pleased to be supporting the Controls & Skills Authority (CaSA) 2026 Conference and Awards, taking place in Manchester on 13–14 May 2026.

As part of our involvement, changemaker is a Bronze Partner of the conference and sponsor of the Inclusive Leadership & Culture Award, recognising the growing importance of people, leadership and culture within the project controls profession.

The event brings together professionals from across estimating, cost management, planning, PMO leadership and project controls to explore how complex programmes are successfully delivered.

Inclusive Leadership & Culture Award

changemaker is proud to sponsor the Inclusive Leadership & Culture Award, which recognises individuals and teams who are building positive, inclusive and high-performing environments within the profession.

The award highlights leaders who are:

  • Championing diversity and inclusion
  • Strengthening professional culture and collaboration
  • Creating environments where teams and individuals can thrive
  • Supporting the development of the next generation of professionals

This focus reflects a wider shift in the industry. Technical excellence alone is no longer enough. The ability to lead people, build trust and create high-performing cultures has become central to delivering successful programmes.

The CaSA Awards Evening

On 13 May, the conference will also host the CaSA Awards Evening at Impossible, Manchester, celebrating outstanding individuals and teams across the project controls profession.

The awards recognise professionals who are helping advance the industry through innovation, collaboration and leadership. The evening includes networking, food and entertainment alongside the presentation of awards recognising excellence across the profession.

The CaSA Conference 2026

The Controls & Skills Authority Conference is one of the UK’s leading events dedicated to the project controls and programme delivery community. Held at etc.venues Manchester, the two-day conference focuses on the future of the profession and the evolving skills required to manage complex programmes and large transformation initiatives.

The conference is built around three core themes:

1. Controls

Exploring the practices, systems and frameworks that help projects stay on track, on budget and aligned to value.

2. Skills

Looking at how the profession evolves through training, development and capability building to meet the demands of modern programme environments.

3. Authority

Recognising the role of standards, governance and professional leadership in strengthening the credibility and influence of project controls across industry.

These themes reflect the growing importance of integrated programme delivery, where technical disciplines and leadership capability work together to deliver successful outcomes.

changemaker at the conference

As a Bronze Partner, changemaker will be participating in the conference through partner activities and industry discussions alongside other organisations working across programme delivery and project controls.

The partnership includes conference presence, partner promotion and networking engagement with delegates, enabling conversations with professionals responsible for major programmes and transformation initiatives.  CSA 2026 Conference stands for changemaker, this community is particularly important.

Many organisations invest heavily in project planning, controls and governance frameworks, but large programmes often succeed or fail based on something less technical — how people respond to change.

Project controls provide structure and measurement. Change leadership ensures organisations understand, adapt and move forward. The most successful transformation programmes bring both together.

Why this matters for transformation programmes

Project controls professionals play a vital role in helping organisations deliver complex projects and large transformation programmes. They provide the frameworks that enable leaders to measure progress, understand performance and manage risk.

But delivering real change requires more than plans and reporting. It requires leadership capability, communication and organisational alignment. That is why events like the CaSA Conference are valuable.

They bring together professionals responsible for both the technical and human dimensions of programme delivery, strengthening the profession as a whole.
